Steve qualified from University College Cork (UCC), Ireland, in 2008. He moved to the UK, and spent 3 years working at a very successful general and cosmetic practice, Parrock Street Dental Care, in suburban London. Over this time he took full advantage of the excellent post-graduate courses and seminars that London has to offer. He completed a year long course in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dentistry under the mentorship of Dr Chris Orr, a founder member & past president of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) and a world renowned expert and lecturer in dental aesthetics. Steve was honoured as a guest lecturer to final year students in UCC in 2011. He has also helped in the training of newly qualified dentists in the UK and was so well respected he was nominated for the Young Dentist of the Year Awards a few years ago.

Steve spent some time volunteering in Central Laos creating and teaching a sustainable dental education programme. This programme has been taught to tens of thousands of children in South East Asia and Central America. He has also worked in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He first worked in Australia in private practice in 2012. Steve is a great asset to the practice; the pride he shows in his work is self evident, his ‘Irish Charm’ helps patients to relax, and his wealth of experience in aesthetics transforms smiles and builds confidence using minimally invasive techniques under magnification. He is a full member of the BACD. He is one of only five Providers of the innovative and popular short term orthodontic system for Adults, Six Month Smiles™, in Australia. He has treated olympic gold medalists, heads of state, and most challengingly, many other Dentists!

He loves to play and coach soccer, having played at the highest amateur level in Ireland and Australia. He represented his University internationally during summer tours of the USA, and was also a founding member of a very successful alumni club in London, UCC Diaspora. He is a big rugby fan, supporting Munster and Ireland and attended the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. Steve enjoys playing golf and is a full member of world renowned Ballybunion Golf Club in his native Ireland.

He is not the type to sit idle, enjoying whatever activities are on offer.
